What we believe..
a. God. There is but one God, who is the maker of
all things visible and invisible. Gen. 1:1; Psalm 86:9; John 1:1-3.
b. The Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the
Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His Virgin birth, that He is the incarnation of God, very
God of Very God, for Whom and by Whom all things were created. John 1:1-14; John 14:9;
Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6; Matt.. 1:18-25.
c. The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the
third person in the Trinity, proceeds from the Father and Son, and is of one substance,
majesty and glory, with the Father and the Son. John 14:16-18; John 15:26; Matthew3:16; 1
Thess. 4:8; Ephesians 4:30; Acts 13;2-4.
d. The inspiration of the Holy Scriptures. We
believe in the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures as the revelation of the mind and will
of God ; on the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, we accept them in their original form
as Divine Word which, when heaven and earth have passed away, shall yet endure. 2 Tim.
3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Matt. 24:35; John 5:39.
e. The Devil We believe in the personality of
the devil, who by his influence and power, brought about the downfall of man, and now
seeks to destroy the faith of every believer of the Lord Jesus Christ. Gen. 3:1-4; Matt.
4:1-11; Luke 4:1-3; James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8; John 13:2.
f. Justification by faith Through simply
believing unto obedience in the atoning death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ,
we receive remission of all of our sins and the gift of eternal life. Rom. 10:9-10; Rom.
5:1; Rom. 4:25; Gal. 3:8-11, 24.
g. Water Baptism Single immersion in water in
the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, is symbolical of our death,
Burial and resurrection with our Lord Jesus Christ. Matt. 28 : 19 - 20; Acts 19:48; Rom.
6:3-5; Col. 2:12; Acts 8:35-39.
h. Sanctification. It is the glorious
privilege of every believer in Christ to be made pure in heart and wholly sanctified
through the operation of the Holy Spirit. John 17:15 - 19; 1 Thess. 4:3 - 4; Heb. 2:11; 1
Thess 5:23-24; Heb. 10:10-16; Rom. 12:1-2.
i. The Gift of the Holy Spirit The Gift of
the Holy Spirit is promised to all believers and is received by faith, subsequent to
conversion. A definite physical manifestation accompanies this glorious experience. John
6:37-39; Acts 1:4-5; Acts 2:4; Acts 8:15-19; Acts 10:44-47; Acts 19:1-2; Gal. 3:2, 14;
Mark 16:17.
j. Divine Healing. In accordance with the
teachings of Scriptures, we trust our Heavenly Father to protect and heal our bodies from
sickness and disease. We believe that the Divine Healing for the body was purchased for us
by the atoning blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and that by His stripes we were healed.
Exod. 15:26; Isaiah 53;4-5; Matt. 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24; Psalm 103:3-4; James 5:14-16;
Mark 16:17-18.
k. The Lords Supper. In accordance with our
Lord's command we partake of this Sacrament remembering His words.. "This do ye in
remembrance of me". Luke 22:15-20; Matt. 26:21-28; 1 Cor. 11:23-26.
l. Pre-Millennial Coming of Christ. It is our
glorious hope and earnest expectation that our Lord will soon return for His Church and
catch her away to a place prepared before the Great Tribulation bursts upon this world.
Having this hope we purify ourselves even as He is pure so that we may be ready to meet
Him when He comes to gather His people to Himself. John 13:1-3; 1 Thess. 4:17; 2 Thess.
2:1; Ezek. 27:22-25; Daniel 7:13-14; Zech. 14:4-7; Rev. 11:15. (Still working on

m. Punishment of the Wicked. We believe in
the everlasting punishment of the wicked (in the sense of eternal torment) who wilfully
reject and despise the love of God manifested in the great sacrifice of His only Son upon
the Cross of Calvary for their salvation. Matt. 13:49-50; 1 Thess. 1:8-9; Rom. 6:23; Rev.
20:11-15.
n. The Millennium. We believe in the return
of the Lord Jesus Christ to set up His millennium reign on this earth. Zech. 14:5; Dan.
7:22; Micah 4:1-7; Rev. 5:9-10; Psalm 72:5-11; Psalm 96:10-13.
